The Summer Institute

We are pleased to offer a restorative and explorative four-week seminar for educators. If you are a classroom teacher, community educator, or education leader looking to have dedicated time for writing, improve your practice, and/or influence the writing culture in your school or organization, the WPWP Summer Institute is for you!

Young Writers' Institute

Since 1989, WPWP's Young Writers Institute (YWI) has offered young people exciting and engaging environments to explore writing. Young writers from across the Western Pennsylvania region come together and meet to have the opportunity to develop their skills as writers.

Writing for College

WPWP provides high school students with the tools and support needed to successfully navigate the college application process, craft compelling personal statements, write effective scholarship essays, and begin to develop skills for college-level essay writing.
