Colleen Geiger is the mama of a 5-year-old and a middle school Communications teacher at Langley K-8 in the Pittsburgh Public School District. She earned a Bachelor’s in Fiction Writing and Master’s in English Education from Pitt, then joined the Summer Institute of Teachers through Western Pennsylvania Writing Project in 2014. Colleen has facilitated the Young Writers Institutes since 2020 and feels so thankful to be part of the Young Writers Institute again this summer!
